Adaptive Supply Chain™

The marketing supply chain is complex and diverse. Globalisation, technology innovation, and changing supply and demand dynamics are presenting new opportunities and risks for Clients. Oliver Marketing have developed a management approach that optimises utilisation of the marketing supply chain, while simultaneously managing risk and corporate responsibility.

The Adaptive Supply Chain™ model enables organisations to control the supply chain and costs while facilitating access to best in class services and products. It delivers all the benefits of a consolidated supply chain with the tactical advantages of open market purchasing. Through the use of e-procurement and efficient supplier approval processes we combine the benefits of contracted relationships with spot market buying.

The Adapative Supply Chain model catagorises a broad network of specialist marketing suppliers. The supplier catagories consist of Agency groups, MRM groups, and print and production groups. Within the groups contracted suppliers are selected by Clients as either Tier 1 preferred partners, or Tier 2 spot buying suppliers. Suppliers can be in different Tiers for different Clients and compete to be promoted for any appropriate Client. This management model ensures Clients have access to a controlled and flexible supplier base, and suppliers to adequate demand at all times for their services. The result is sustainable lowest market rates from industry and catagory leading supplies of products and services.
